APEROL SPRITZ

Created in the 19th century, when the soldiers of the Austro-Hungarian Empire dominated the north of the Italic Peninsula.

It seemed to them that the wines of the region were too strong and they decided to reduce them with soda, and baptize it with “spritz” name, because in German “spritzen” means “to sprinkle”. The aperol includes rhubarb, bitter orange and a mixture of herbs.
